                        ('Biofutures' or 'the Company')

On 3 March 2008 Biofutures was notified that on 28 February 2008 Lim Kwee Gee
sold 10,000,000 ordinary shares of 1 penny each in the Company ('Ordinary
Shares') at 5 pence per share. This sale has reduced Lim Kwee Gee's holding in
the Company from 34,268,380 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 22.69 per
cent. of the issued share capital of the Company to 24,268,380 Ordinary Shares
representing approximately 16.07 per cent. of the issued share capital of the
Company.

In addition, on 3 March 2008 Biofutures was notified that on 28 February 2008
Allianz Insurance Plc, a subsidiary of Allianz SE, purchased 9,000,000 Ordinary
Shares at 5 pence per share. This purchase has increased Allianz Insurance Plc's
holding in the Company from 2,650,000 Ordinary Shares representing approximately
1.75 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company to 11,650,000 Ordinary
Shares representing approximately 7.71 per cent. of the issued share capital of
the Company.
