                                  Board Change

Biofutures is pleased to announce that Dr. Wong Kai Fatt (Joe Wong) (aged 43)
has stepped up to the board position of Chief Executive Officer from his
position as Executive Director.

Joe Wong is currently a director of the following companies:

Joe Wong was appointed to the board of Hiap Aik Construction Bhd by the special
Administrator for the restructuring of the company to represent, to facilitate
and to help safeguard minority interests during the successful restructuring of
the company. He resigned on 10 June 2004 after completing the task.

Joe Wong holds 13,334,000 Ordinary Shares in Biofutures, representing
approximately 8.8 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.

In accordance with paragraph (g) of Schedule Two to the AIM Rules for Companies,
the Company confirms that there are no further matters to be disclosed in
respect of Joe Wong's appointment as Chief Executive Officer.
